Eligibility for Legal Clinics:
1. The applicant must be a NTUC member;
2. The member must not have previously consulted a lawyer on the same matter;
3. The issue should not be employment-related one;
4. Information sought is for applicant’s personal matter (i.e. not for spouse or family member) and
5. Information sought is not for business, corporate or investment matters.

What to expect at the Legal Clinics:
- Basic legal advice and information will be given.
- Only oral advice.
- No drafting or vetting of documents and letters.
- The member is not able to have a second appointment for the same matter.
- Consultation with the volunteer lawyer will not exceed 20 minutes.
- The volunteer lawyer will not be able to act for or represent the member in any subsequent legal action.

Colorectal Cancer is one of the few cancers that can be prevented through early screening and diagnosis. Learn about the signs and symptoms of Colorectal Cancer, the risk factors and treatment options available. Take charge of your lifestyle choices and improve your overall well-being!
Facilitator: Adj Asst Prof Seow Choon Sheong is Director, Colorectal Surgery in JurongHealth. He is practicing as a Senior Consultant in Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and Jurong Medical Centre. Adj Asst Prof Seow is also involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education. He received the Dean’s Award for Excellence in undergraduate teaching and the Best Teacher (Surgery) Award in JurongHealth twice. He is also the Associate Programme Director, General Surgery Residency Programme, NUHS.

  Youth Entrepreneurship Symposium 2017 (YES 2017)  
  • YES is an annual youth-run entrepreneurship symposium that connects aspiring student entrepreneurs-to-be together with entrepreneurs from different industries. In its 10th edition, the event is positioned as a 3.5-day interactive and comprehensive symposium from 13 to 16 June 2017.
  • With the theme “Entrepreneurship as a Career”, YES 2017 aim to encourage youths to choose entrepreneurship as a future career choice. YES 2017 programme includes equipping them with business skills/tips needed to kick-start a business, learn the backend operations to widen their perspective on an entrepreneurial businesses and be inspired by the experiences and stories shared by entrepreneurs.
  • There will be a networking session on the last day, which will be a great platform for participants to explore internship opportunities from start-ups, and for companies to come on board.
